Tascor has been trusted for 15 years as a provider of secure forensics transport and logistics services, delivering transportation services for the police, public sector and private forensic science customers.

Working for the Scottish Police Authority and a number of other agencies, such as Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal service, Fire Arms Units and Ballistics Laboratories and Scene Examiner Units forming part of the Scottish justice system, Tascor has developed an integrated service, defining routes that provide the quickest and most efficient service between locations spread across the whole of Scotland.

Also providing secure transport services throughout the UK for the National Crime Agency and British Transport Police, we provide scheduled routes and ad hoc short notice secure transport anywhere in the UK from John O’Groats to Lands’ End and Northern Ireland to South Kent.

We currently provide services for customers including Mass Spec Analytical, Forensic Services Northern Ireland, British Transport Police and Scottish Police Authority under a Service Level Agreement.

We use unmarked, highly secure vehicles, fitted with GPS tracking systems, which provide a complete chain of evidence for productions throughout their journey with us from collection to delivery.

The mapping and tracking system is used by schedulers to:

• Ensure security and vigilance
• Guarantee delivery times are satisfactory and consistent
• Monitor Driver attitudes and behaviours.

All Driver Operatives are specially trained and vetted to NPPV Level 3. During the extensive training for all of our drivers a key focus is placed, not only on the need for safety and security, but also on understanding the important role that Tascor plays in ensuring the integrity of the items being.
